About time.

A lot has happened since I lasted blogged (which explains the lack of post), Sorry! To start off on fathers day Ivorie sat up for her first time alone it was so fun to watch her face once she realized what she was doing and what better day to do it on then Fathers day!

After many tears and a lot of time thinking. I resigned my full time position at work to be home with my sweet baby. I am so sad about my job, but yet I am so excited and happy that I get the opportunity to be home and raise Iv's. We will have so much fun!
2 days after I told the chief my plans of leaving, I was on bike patrol looking for a suspect and had to stop quickly on one of the trails. Well me being the idiot I am didn't get my left foot out of my petal clip fast enough so the bike and I took a tumble onto some boulders and I broke my wrist. That being said I really needed the extra help at home with Ivorie so my AWESOME niece came to my rescue!

Samantha, thank you so much for all your help. I could not have done it without you! Love you:)

Best Friends Forever!

From the moment you two met, I knew you would forever be the best of friends. Ivorie, you could not have asked for a better father. You have the best one in the universe. He will always be there for you, protect you, hold you, kiss you, snap your ear,

have tea parties with you, and best of all he.......................................

He will NOT let you date until you are 25;)

Happy Fathers day Bub. I am SO proud to have you as my husband, father and provider of our family. We love you dearly and are so grateful for you. I hope you enjoy your first (real) Father's Day:)

We made it!

After months of waiting with excitement we finally made it to Yellowstone for our family vacation!!! We had so much fun. The weather wasn't the best but we still made incredible memories. We got to see so many exciting things. such as, breath taking waterfalls, rivers, and lakes.

We got to use Ivorie's umbrella stroller for this first time. She loved it.

If you have never seen Old Faithful. You MUST see it.

There were so many animals in the park that we got to see. We saw Buffalo, Elk, Deer, Wolves, Coyotes, Birds, and Bears. We were hoping to find a Moose but never was lucky enough.

Thanks you again Nana and Grandpa for taking us to Yellowstone. It was so much fun

So it is the middle of June and look at the pile of HAIL in my yard....Please make it stop!!

3rd times the charm!

We have slowly been starting Ivorie on rice cereal. The first two times she hated it. She would cry, make soar faces, and knock the spoon and bowl away. SOOOOO we just tried it again and FINALLY she was happy with it and enjoyed it a lot more:) and, to top it the night off she was so full that she slept a lot! She went to bed at 9:00 woke up at 5:30 for a quick snack, slept again until 10:00 in the morning YES!

Well we havent had much going on lately to blog about! Just that ivorie loves to hang upside now, and laugh:)
